Week 6 NFL Power Rankings

I do my rankings college football poll styles. So you'll see some major falling if a team loses to the Raiders or loses 59-0. Ahem ahem!

Last week's rankings in parenthesis.

1. (1) New Orleans Saints (5-0). Well, the Saints sure made that look easy. They made quick work of the Giants, a team they may have to face again in the playoffs. Next, up, Atlanta. Another team they may have to play.

2. (2) Indianapolis Colts (5-0). Bye.

3. (4) Denver Broncos (6-0). Ugh, the Broncos. I have talked shit about Josh McDaniels since the day he got the job but he's now 6-0. The defense has given up the fewest points in the league, by a pretty good margin.

4. (5) Minnesota Vikings (6-0). Brett Favre just knows how to come back and win games. They have two tough games before a bye week, then the schedule gets easier.

5. (8) Atlanta Falcons (4-1). The Falcons are quietly marching along with another great year. They will have to continue to play great because the NFC is a war this year.

6. (12) New England Patriots (4-2).
59-0. Wow. And it easly could have been about 73-0. They could be finding their groove on offense.

7. (3) New York Giants (5-1). There are some worries in the Meadowlands. The Giants got to 5-0 thanks in part to a rediculiously easy schedule, then when they played a good team, they got stomped. Still, they are a great, championship tested team and they will be alright.

8. (7) Baltimore Ravens (3-3). The poor luck Ravens have lost 3 games in a row, all games that could have been won with different last minute circumstances. The defense can't really stop anybody, that is cause for concern.

9. (16) Pittsburgh Steelers (4-2). The Steelers have not been playing great, but low and behold, they are 4-2 and should be in control of the division for the remainder of the season. The champs aren't going anywhere.

10. (9) New York Jets (3-3). Mark Sanchez is experiencing some major growing pains, but the great defense has kept the Jets in games.

11. (10) Cincinnati Bengals (4-2)
12. (11) Chicago Bears (3-2)
13. (13) Dallas Cowboys (3-2)
